I just finished adding a trendy new product to the Stylish Baby store and they are so cute!  Check out these Pink Axle hats for infants, most are available for 0-6 months right now and look at the great designs for your rocker babies!  Especially now that the weather is getting colder it’s definitely important to keep those little heads warm and cozy and these hats are super soft and comfortable.  I got a couple hats for my little guy, I love the skull and cross bones, I wish I had these when my daughter was smaller, the pink hat with the rhinestone peace sign is my favorite.

Well, I have to say, I love the baby carriers, especially with 2 kids now, I definitely need any extra hands I can get!!  But there are so many types and brands to choose from, which one is the best?  Is it a Baby Bjorn, a baby sling, a Mei Tai, or maybe a baby wrap?  There are also so many brands, do you choose a Moby Wrap, a Peanut Shell sling, or the New Native Baby carrier? 

Ok, I have to confess I don’t have the answer to that because each baby seems to be really different in what they like as well as what is comfortable for Mom and Dad.  I got 2 Baby Bjorns for my 1st baby and never ended up using them because she would cry and scream every time I put her in it.  Yet, I see people using them all the time and their kids look perfectly happy.  We finally ended up using the Peanut Shell baby wrap with her and she loved it, and so did I.  I was intimidated by it at first but after I got used to it, I just wrapped her in, and as long as I was moving, she was perfectly happy.  Now with my son, he hasn’t been quite as comfortable in the baby wrap but is really liking the Peanut Shell organic sling, it is a little stretchier than the regular sling, more like the material of the wrap.  I think he likes to be able to look out and see his new world.

I am getting used to having a newborn in the house again but not getting used to sleepless nights!  Actually, baby j’s 1st 12 weeks were better than the last 3 weeks, argh!  So, I am trying to catch up when I can.  I have to say the one thing that does help him fall asleep is swaddling him and I have finally found the best swaddle blanket by Swaddle Designs.  It seemed as though we were always looking for the perfect blanket to swaddle his sister with and we could never seem to get the right fit.  This blanket is big enough to keep him wrapped up nice and snug and it is the perfect material, just warm enough but not too hot.

Well this is my 1st post and I want to say hello to everyone!  I am just coming out of my “maternity leave” after having Baby J and starting to get back into the work mode!  I would like to appologize to any customers who did not get my normal stellar customer service, I am finally getting somewhat used to having a toddler and a newborn again!   So, thank you for your patience, and I promise to get back to great customer service and if there is a delay in your order, you can be assured you will be updated often!

As far as the blog goes, I am planning to post on anything that seems to be of interest, including my adventures of being a mom, products I may be using and really liking or not, and new products, sales, etc.  I would love to hear from anyone out there on anything mentioned above or whatever seems important to you. 

Just a quick note on my growing family.  It sure is fun, but definitely busy with two.  I am finding that the “newborn thing” is so much easier this time around but balancing time with both of them and getting a routine is much more of a challenge.  I did not think it was possible to love another little Peanut as much as Baby R, but it happened!  I am getting another huge crush on this new guy, it is so cool.
